AMO accepting referrals for long-term work as job base expands

All members of American Maritime Officers are asked to refer friends and relatives who are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard as merchant marine officers to AMO for immediate long-term employment.

"Growth could get ahead of us in key areas," said AMO National President Tom Bethel. "We can meet all of our current manpower commitments in all domestic and international trades, but we have unequaled opportunities for licensed seagoing professionals and a lot of new work on the horizon. We would be remiss if we didn't plan accordingly for all contingencies. If you know engine or deck officers who need jobs, we'll give them rewarding options, regardless of their experience, current circumstances or current affiliations."

AMO members wishing to refer individuals for employment under AMO contract are asked to notify the AMO Dispatch Department at (800) 345-3410.
