AMO Plans COVID-19 operations update: Entire AMO Plans campus - including the AMO Clinic - at 2 West Dixie Highway remains closed; no walk-ins are allowed due to containment requirements

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency - and the State of Florida Executive Order 20-91, as well as the health and safety of our members and employees - the AMO Plans campus will remain closed until further notice while maintaining as many services as possible via phone and e-mail, and through online resources.

  • The AMO Plans campus at 2 West Dixie Highway remains closed. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED DUE TO CONTAINMENT REQUIREMENTS.
  • STAR Center classes are suspended until Monday, June 1.
  • For Students, STAR Center's Student Services team continues to process all registrations submitted by e-mail in a timely manner remotely and in the order they are received. for all registration inquiries and requests. Phone calls/voicemails will be processed as the circumstances allow. Updates will be posted on the STAR Center website.
  • The U.S. Coast Guard has published an update regarding extension to credential expirations, to which a link is also posted on our site.
  • The AMO Clinic will remain closed until further notice.
  • The AMO Plans benefit departments - including medical, vacation and retirement - will continue to process claims and address issues online. Phone calls/voicemails will be processed as circumstances allow.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies so we can continue to support AMO Plans participants while protecting the health and safety of AMO members and families and the AMO Plans staff. An update will be sent when a date to re-open the campus and clinic is confirmed.
