October 13 events at SUNY Maritime College Reunion Weekend will honor El Faro Chief Engineer Richard Pusatere, help fund establishment of endowed scholarship

Events scheduled for October 13 during the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College Reunion Weekend will honor El Faro Chief Engineer Richard Pusatere, and proceeds from the Class of 2003 barbecue that day will help fund the establishment of the Richard J. Pusatere '03 Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Events are scheduled as follows:

10 a.m. - Family members will speak at the morning Reunion/Pass in Review Ceremony in St. Mary's Pentagon.

11 a.m. - A service honoring Richard will be held in the Hall of Honor, Fort Schuyler.

Noon - Class of 2003 barbecue, The Point ($50 per person), with all proceeds from the event helping to fund the establishment of the Richard J. Pusatere '03 Endowed Scholarship Fund.
