STCW 2010 gap closing training: Leadership & Managerial Skills requirement
STAR Center has received approval from the U.S. Coast Guard's National Maritime Center for its five-day Advanced Bridge Resource Management course to meet the STCW 2010 gap closing training requirements for Leadership & Managerial Skills (Note: STAR Center's three-day upgrade BRM does not have this approval). Further, those completing the ABRM course at STAR Center since March 2011 have been retroactively granted credit for this training. STAR Center is contacting all AMO members and applicants who have completed this training to advise them of the situation.
